How To Use This Document

This document contains information that is not included in the Getting Started Guide. Please read this document before you configure or use MaxManager.

New Features In the April Private Beta
===================================

• We have added support for Internet Explorer 4.0 and AOL 4.0. 
• New and updated advertisements are automatically downloaded and displayed.
• New and updated application home pages are automatically downloaded and displayed. 
• We have added approximately 20 new merchants to the merchant list.  Keep in mind that new merchants are constantly being added and are automatically downloaded and added to the merchant list.
• The button to take you to the application's homepage has been changed to a menu item.
• There is a new Members menu that includes features such as a Guided Tour, a FAQ and a Privacy statement.
• You can now print receipts.
• Wish lists and Wallets have been removed until these features are fully implemented.

Miscellaneous MaxManager Issues
================================

• If you attempt to uninstall the MaxManager while components of the application are running, those components will not be uninstalled.
• If you uninstall the MaxManager with the intention of re-installing the product immediately thereafter, you must reboot your machine after uninstalling. 
• Some of the merchants in our merchant list do not have Customer Service Links. This is a known issue and will be corrected in the near future.
• During setup, our IE5 order capture button is added correctly, but in some cases the button will not be visible at first. Use Internet Explorer's View:Toolbars:Customize... menu command to display the button.
• The MaxManager has not been tested on a machine with the color palette set to 256 colors. We recommend that your display properties be set for 65536 colors or more.
